Since fall 2004, as a part of Truth in Tuition, Illinois State University has frozen the Undergraduate Tuition and General Fees rate for each group of new incoming students. The frozen rates remain in effect for four continuous years and are set by the board of trustees for the upcoming year.
For incoming students enrolled in a program that requires five or six years to complete, your freeze rate will extend an additional year or two. For a listing of those programs that qualify for the extended time frame, please see the 5 & 6 Year Major Listing.
Additional information on calculating tuition is available from the Student Accounts Web site.
