Who is classified as a transfer student?

For the purpose of admission to Illinois State University, a person who has enrolled at any college or university, after graduating from high school whether or not any work was completed, is classified as a transfer student.

Please note the following:

• A person who has enrolled at any college or university, after high school graduation, whether or not any work was completed.
• A person who graduates early from high school and attends a college or university during the spring term and begins at Illinois State the following fall will be considered a transfer student if the high school transcript posts the graduation date as January.
